Rising Las Vegas Temps Bring Drops in Golf Prices!
During the hot summer months in Las Vegas, golf prices experience a significant drop due to the heat. As temperatures soar, many golfers prefer to seek refuge indoors, leading to a decrease in demand for tee times.
To entice golfers to brave the heat, golf courses often introduce attractive discounts, deals, and special offers, making it an opportune time for budget-conscious players to enjoy world-class golf at a fraction of the peak season pricing. Prices are more expensive in the early morning to “beat the heat”, but they are still much cheaper than during peak seasons. So, if you can handle the hotter temperatures, you’ll find that the summer season presents a fantastic opportunity to experience Las Vegas golf at a more affordable cost.
Bali Hai
Bali Hai is a tropical golfer’s paradise, located right on the Las Vegas Strip with seven acres of water features, a signature island green, more than 4,000 trees including 2500 stands of towering palm trees and 100,000 tropical plants and flowers. Transition zones are also accented with Augusta white sand and volcanic rock outcroppings. Built right next door to the Four Season & Mandalay Bay, be one to say you have played golf on the Las Vegas Strip.

Bears Best
Bear’s Best Golf Club, one of Jack Nicklaus’s gorgeous courses right here in Las Vegas valley, was created to replicate many of the top courses created by Jack Nicklaus, hint. Bear’s Best. Every hole emulates one of Jack’s favorite golf holes from courses like La Campanas, La Paloma, and the famous PGA West Course in La Quinta, Ca. Two holes have black sand! The course is in tour-like condition year around and a great experience, especially if you are a Jack Nicklaus fan… who isn’t.

Las Vegas Paiute
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is a 54-hole facility (Snow, Sun, & Wolf) built in the middle of the desert with not a house in site. All three courses are award-winning with near perfect conditions year around and beautiful views of the surrounding desert & mountains. You can’t go wrong with any of the three, but the word is the Snow is the most playable, the Wolf has the famous island green, and the Sun plays the most difficult.

Revere
The Revere golf club is considered one of the best values for Desert/Canyon golf in Southern Nevada. The Concord and Lexington courses (Lexington is the more difficult of the two) have dramatic elevation changes and picturesque views of the surrounding mountains, entire city, and the Las Vegas Strip. A beautiful location for any day of golf and a great way to capture memorable pictures with the Las Vegas Strip in the background.

Rio Secco
Rio Secco Golf Club is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the Las Vegas valley. Home of the Butch Harmon School of Golf, the course has tour-like conditions year around with six holes through steep canyons, six holes on a plateau overlooking the city, and six holes in a broad desert wash. Built on the Black Mountains, the views overlook the entire city and Las Vegas Strip… definitely a must play while in Las Vegas.

Arroyo Course at Red Rock
Arnold Palmer’s signature course and the newest addition to Red Rock Country Club is a beautiful addition to the facility, called The Arroyo. Like the private course Mountain, The Arroyo course is cut seamlessly among the rocky mountainous terrain and located throughout the Red Rock Canyons. Many holes have some of the best panoramic views in the city. Siena
Siena Golf Club is a revival of the values and artistic styles fashioned by golf’s greatest courses: even more Siena is a celebration of the Italian Culture. Beautifully designed by Schmidt & Curley throughout the mountainous terrain, the course has a desert/tropical feel with its multiple water features and plenty of palm trees. A focal point is Lake Siena, a quarter-mile long lake with cascading waterfalls on the first hole. The elevated characteristic of the terrain provides panoramic views of the mountains and city lights.

Sun City Summerlin
Palm Valley, Highland Falls, & Eagle Crest are three courses designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash in Summerlin which is 20 minutes northwest of the Las Vegas strip. With Palm Valley being the most challenging, Highland Falls having the most elevation changes and best views of the city, and Eagle Crest, which is a very challenging par 60 executive course, all three courses are always in great shape and are a fun relaxing experience.

Painted Desert
The Painted Desert Golf Club, noted as one of the first true desert courses in Las Vegas, opened backin1987. It is well matured, developed, and always in great condition. A favorite of local golfers, the course has tight fairways and natural desert landscaping giving golfers a traditional yet desert feel and challenging, but with a reasonable design. Even though Painted Desert is considered one of the “older courses” you will not feel it because of the conditions and layout. It is a fun, but challenging course.

Coyote Springs
Coyote Springs Golf Club, another Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, is a challenging 7,471yard layout many consider to be one of Nicklaus’s finest desert creations ever conceived. The course is about an hour drive from the Las Vegas Strip, but well worth it. Built in the middle of the desert, it truly feels like a PGA style private country club. The course is absolutely beautiful cut out of the canyons with a ton of natural desert terrain and water features.
